For students of high school
School groups are introduced and interpret the work of Jannis Psychopedis, give meaning to poetic texts through personal thoughts, visualize traits of their personalities through personal works that they collect in portfolios.
They become poets and create poetry by intervening (blackout poetry) on everyday speech texts. They become painters and engrave on a soft surface a spontaneous version of their “poetic” selves which they also get to print in ink.
For students of third & sixth grade of primary school
Would you be able to write a poem about what you see? To create a painting about what you are listening to?
According to Jannis Psychopedis*, painting gives one the ability not only to “feel” poetry, but also to be able to “touch it”. School groups are guided through the artist’s exhibition, explore the relation between painting and poetry and create their own artworks.
Students are introduced to the concept of visual poetry, composing on paper poems with images, and the art of engraving, creating in real time small scale works.

Οι σχολικές ομάδες γνωρίζουν και ερμηνεύουν το έργο του Γιάννη Ψυχοπαίδη, νοηματοδοτούν με προσωπικές σκέψεις ποιητικά κείμενα, οπτικοποιούν στοιχεία της προσωπικότητάς τους μέσα από ατομικά έργα που συγκεντρώνουν σε portfolios.
Γίνονται ποιητές και παρεμβαίνουν με χειρονομιακό τρόπο (black-out poetry) πάνω σε κείμενα καθημερινού λόγου. Γίνονται ζωγράφοι και χαράζουν σε μαλακή επιφάνεια μια αυθόρμητη εκδοχή του «ποιητικού» τους εαυτού την οποία και εκτυπώνουν με μελάνι.
Για μαθητές Γ´ και ΣΤ´ Δημοτικού
Θα μπορούσες να γράψεις ένα ποίημα γι’ αυτό που βλέπεις; Να κάνεις μια ζωγραφιά γι’ αυτό που ακούς;
Σύμφωνα με τον Γιάννη Ψυχοπαίδη*, η ζωγραφική δίνει τη δυνατότητα όχι μόνο «να συναισθάνεσαι την ποίηση, αλλά και να μπορείς να την αγγίξεις». Οι σχολικές ομάδες ξεναγούνται στην έκθεση του καλλιτέχνη, διερευνούν τη σχέση της ζωγραφικής με τον ποιητικό λόγο και κατασκευάζουν τα δικά τους έργα.
Οι μαθητές έρχονται σε επαφή με την έννοια της οπτικής ποίησης συνθέτοντας στο χαρτί ποιήματα-εικόνες, καθώς και με την τέχνη της χαρακτικής δημιουργώντας μικρά χαρακτικά έργα τα οποία εκτυπώνουν σε πραγματικό χρόνο.
